you ever wonder what tony hawk’s youngest child is up to? well, it’s this. i saw these two freaks live last weekend and it was a blast, very excited for the new album from all the new songs they played.

matter of time by umru and warpstr

this track is pretty much what you’d expect from a collaboration between these two: it’s rubbery, it’s got wacky percussion and laser sounds, it sounds an awful lot like SOPHIE and A.G. Cook. it’s not my favorite umru track ever or anything but it is still solid and fun.

yet another ultra-distorted digicore trap cut, some more creativity in the production than normal though. the percussion on this one is pretty crazy.

and also in the ultra-distorted digicore trap bucket is this new album from deadAir’s kuru, which i shoutout mainly because this first track from it has production from jane remover. jane hasn’t made anything that sounds like this since their 2020 collabs with fraxiom and blackwinterwells, and it’s really interesting to hear her return to this sound after a really long time doing completley different stuff.
