tracey brakes is one of my favorite producers of the past few years, and one of the most innovative and brilliant to come in the mold of SOPHIE and 100 gecs. this is her first full length album, and it’s a blistering mix of hyperpop, dubstep, and a whole lot more.

shake it like a (jane remover remix) by jane remover and frost children

back in august, nyc hyperpop twins frost children released a very good single featuring danny brown. this is jane remover’s remix of that song, and it is fucking insane. it is so much less normal than jane’s also excellent remix of tinashe’s nasty.. it is such a bizarre interpretation of the original song. definitely listen to this.

pretty boy by blackwinterwells

i think this is my favorite of the recent string of great singles from blackwinterwells. much like with fellow 2021 hyperpop breakout jane remover, i’m really happy to hear blackwinterwells returning to some more dance music-esque sounds after a while in a more ambient space.

rxq4rmx by bonnie & rxq

rxq is one of my favorite dariacore producers around, and this is a fun, cute remix of rxq4 (rxq doesn’t title their tracks).
